Topic: Signs of the End
Introduction:
I. America’s History
1. Discovered in the 1500s (1492 Christopher Columbus)
2. State in the 1800s (1776 AD to 2010) 234 years.
II. World Recorded History - Illustrate with graph of earth’s recorded history -4004 c BC to2010 A.D. = 6014 Years
i. America Today
ii. America Today vs. World History
1. (234 years old / 4004 Biblical recorded history= 3.8%)
iii. Byzantine Empire –(Europe) ( 330 Ad to 1453 AD)
iv. Past nations existence:
1. Rome ( 27 BC to AD 476- fall of Constantinople)
2. Greece (479 BC to 146 BC)
3. Medes and Persian:( 625 BC to 549 BC; 538 BC to 424 BC)
4. Neo-Babylon (612 BC to 539 BC)
5. Israel (1400 BC to 586 BC)
6. Egypt (3150 BC to 31 BC)
7. Mesopotamia (ca. 5300 BC to 600 BC)
In the weeks to come we will explore these major kingdoms and see their importance in earth’s history. In the coming weeks we will discover some truths of the Earth, Man, and God. But tonight we will focus on the state of our earth today and what is in store for our future.

b. Natural and manmade disasters, in the last 1 & 100 years.

c. Natural Disasters:
i. Earthquakes (Mat. 24:7) -Haiti (0ver 200,000 died), Chile, Taiwan, Tonga, China, Baja California, Chicago, South Japan
ii. Floods
iii. Fires
iv. Tidal waves & Tsunami-Chile, 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake- 230,000 died
v.
vi. Volcanic eruptions,
1. Currently - 2010 Volcano eruption of Eyyafjallajokull in Iceland
2. But Christ people can withstand these disasters, because of the Hope in Christ Jesus.
a. His Grace will prevail: (1 Peter 5:10)
Manmade disasters:
vii. Wars (Matt. 24: 7) (several major wars in the last 100 years):
1. WW I (1914) over 20 Million killed
2. WW II (1940s)
3. Vietnam War (1960s)
4. Gulf War (1990s)
5. Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraqi (2000s)
viii. Global warming
ix. Oil Spills
1. Even through all this The Grace of Jesus will be with his people.
a. Grace of God with us. ( Revelation 22:21)
III. Earth’s population predication in the next 50 years
a. Population 10,000 BC (1 Million), verses 2009 AD (6.8 Billion)
b. Growth in the last 100 years- 1900 to 2009 (5.19 Billion), 1900 AD population was 1.608 Billion; today it is estimated at 6.8 billion.
c. Future prediction of population:
i. Pop. by 2050 - 9.4 Billion
d. Catastrophe:
i. Diseases such as AIDS, N1H1, etc
ii. Famine, feeding the earth’s pop.
1. God’s people are through this prediction, for it is poured out on His people.
2. His Grace is sufficient

i. Wickedness in high places

2. Child molestation
3. Murder, Rape
4. Theft & Robbery
f. His Grace even waits for the unrighteous, but not for long.
g. His Grace is longsuffering

Answering the question-Do we have enough Time? IV. The Question is: Is there a way out?
a. God’s Grace to us- The way out!
b. Yes there is a way Out:
V. Jesus is the way!
i. He is the one who told us and warned us of these signs
ii. He is the one who is holding back time to save you and me.
iii. He is the one who wants to save us for all the disaster of the world.
iv. He stands ready to save us Ephesians 2:8
